Well known internet retailer justwhiteshirts.com has opened its Yorkville location in (Olde) York Lane under the Stewart Fine Shirts banner. The world’s largest real estate organization is expanding in Yorkville. RE/MAX Unique Inc.'s new office is next door to Bellini’s Restaurant at 101 Yorkville Ave. Broker/owner John Meehan, past president of the Toronto Real Estate Board, says “Something Unique is happening in Yorkville!"
La Casa Del Habano opened in time for the TIFF, supplying "fine authentic Cuban cigars". Located at 141 Yorkville Avenue, between Starbucks and the Four Seasons Hotel. Good location!
The French Connection
There is a budding French presence on Yorkville between Yonge St. and Bay. Véronique Perez’s crêpe boutique called Crêpes à GoGo is relocating here from the Annex and Les Petits Plaisirs d’Andrea (Montréal) is opening a sizable operation. Good company for La Maison de la Presse. Note the popular Francophone gatherings on Wednesday evenings at the Bedford Academy at 36 Prince Arthur in the Annex.
