Art Walk gives newcomers and regular attendees a rewarding

Fundraiser
On Thur . May 17/07
, a 'Ladies Night In'
Fundraiser will be held on behalf of 6 St. Joseph
House, a local not-for-profit organization
run by volunteers. The house is responding to the challenges of
homelessness by providing support and mentoring programs for
those who have traveled difficult roads. Only 85 tickets are
available for $150.00, with tax receipt for $100. Toronto
catering companies will supply exquisite food, cocktails and wine

LuminaTO 
Luminato promises to be Toronto’s pre-eminent
cultural festival, linking the world of art and the creative spirit
with every aspect of Canada’s largest city, the most ethnically
diverse on earth. Luminato’s inaugural festival takes place from
June 1st – June 10th, 2007 in
communities and venues Toronto-wide with Yorkville playing
a key role with the Summer of Love
festival on Sat. June 2/07.

A PhD in
Yorkville's '60's scene: a call for interviews & photos
Stuart Henderson is a PhD
Candidate and Teaching Fellow with the Department of History at
Queen's University. Stuart has been working hard for 5 years on
his doctoral thesis on Yorkville's village years.
He would be pleased to hear from anyone
who was in Yorkville during those years or who
has photos of Yorkville during that
